Bondage Boutique Sex Swing Review

When I first went to set up the Bondage Boutique Swing for this sex swing review, I thought I’d need several hours, a large toolkit, DIY skills, and the patience of a saint to hang it up. Nothing could be further from the truth.

How to hang it up

Hanging up this BDSM harness was surprisingly easy. The Bondage Boutique sex swing can be attached to your ceiling, a swing stand, or your doorframe if you want to use it as a door sex swing. Hanging it up is easy – you simply use an included metal screw-hook to attach it to your ceiling. Once the screw-hook is in place (I’m sure there’s a more technical name but I ain’t no DIY expert) you simply clip the swing onto it and voila!

I should point out that it ideally needs to be put up in a room with high ceilings and strong rafters. The harness itself can carry up to 1,000 lbs of combined bodyweight (although some sources say 300 lbs?) but your ceiling/doorframe might not be so strong. Sadly, your house wasn’t designed with suspended bondage in mind. I constructed my sex harness in my cellar, which has pretty low ceilings, and it initially dangled comically low. Unless you have very tall doorways, I imagine you’d get the same problem if using this as a door sex swing.

How does it work?

Once you’ve got the sex swing set up securely, it’s time for you or your partner to hop in! If you don’t know how to use a sex swing, it’s pretty simple to get started with a basic sex swing position! Hold onto the straps with your hands and sit in the padded seat part of the sex sling, placing your bottom in between the two padded straps for support.Now, with the help of your partner, place your feet into the stirrups so that your legs are up with the rest of your body. Is it worth it?

There are a couple of minor issues with this sex swing, such as the noisy clangy metal and the inevitable neck pain you get after 15-20 minutes, but these problems exist for pretty much all sex swings in this price range. All in all, the cheap price, easy-as-pie setup, robust construction and 360-degree sexual freedom make the Bondage Boutique Sex Swing one of the best sex swings on the market.
